Pet Licensing
Overview
The Town of Brookfield requires a license for dogs and cats that are five months of age or older and have had their rabies shots. Licenses are valid for the calendar year.
Fee Schedule
Spayed/Neutered: $7.00
Unspayed/Unneutered: $12.00
Late Fee (If not paid/renewed by April 1): Additional $5.00
Application:
Applicants/Owners must also provide the following:
- Rabies Vaccination Certificate
- Proof of spay/neuter
- Signed Vicious Dog Declaration Certification

Pets in the Park – Pursuant to the Town’s Municipal Code Section 19.01(2)(e) – Dogs are NOT allowed in any of the Town’s parks or parkways with the exception of service or guide dogs.
