The Town of Brookfield maintains a 5-year Road Program to guide decisions related to local transportation infrastructure improvements. Each year, the Town budgets for and performs routine road maintenance, such as crack sealing or pothole repairs, and road resurfacing and reconstruction projects.

2024 Road Program – Bluemound Road Frontage Road

This year the Town will be reconstructing the Bluemound Road Frontage Road located between Acura of Brookfield and Kopps Custarf. The project includes asphalt pulverizing, reshaping, and asphalt overlay of the entire surface.

Additional work includes replacement of driveway and roadway culverts, adjustment of sanitary sewer and water utility castings, valve boxes, and fire hydrants as well as ditch grading within the Town right-of-way at select locations, and restoration work.

The work is being completed as part of the Wisconsin Department of Transporation (WisDOT) Bluemound Road Resurfacing project. This work is scheduled to begin in March 2024 and be completed by the fall of 2024.
