The Town of Brookfield Fire Department is currently accepting applications for the positions of Non-Firefighter/Paramedic. This is a part-time position with the potential to work up to 50 plus hours per week. Employees are able to select their work schedule. There is no deadline for application submittal.

Minimum eligibility requirements for the position of Non-Firefighter Paramedic include a State of Wisconsin Paramedic License.

Specifications

  1. May 1 – September 1; 30-40 hours per week (start and end times are negotiable)
  2. $17 – $20 per hour; benefits are not included for this position
  3. Paid every two weeks

Requirements

  1. At least age 18
  2. Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
  3. Ability to lift 60 pounds
  4. Requires some experience and training in general grounds maintenance or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, abilities, and skills

The Town of Brookfield Parks & Recreation Department is searching for coaches for its Summer Baseball, Spring and Fall Soccer programs. These are instructional programs for kids between the ages of 2 – 6. Typically, two age groups for each sport/session, once per week for 5-6 weeks are run (averaging 2.5 – 3 hours per week). Summer Baseball runs mid-June – late July from 5 – 7 pm; and Fall Soccer runs early-September – mid-October 14 from 5 – 7 pm. Dates and times are subject to change.

Applicants must fill out all required forms (to the right) and a brief resume highlighting any playing and/or teaching experience. Course outlines/plans are provided. All applicants must be 18 years or older and have reliable transportation. These are independent contractor-type positions with no vacation or health insurance provided. Equipment is provided by the department.

Positions pay $25 per hour.
