Elmbrook Humane Society

The Town of Brookfield utilizes the services of the Elmbrook Humane Society (EHS) for animal control related calls for service. The Town of Brookfield contracts with EHS to provide several services including picking up stray animals, assistance with wildlife that is injured or poses a human health hazard, education and information regarding animal welfare, and shelter and care for animals impounded by law enforcement.

EHS employs state-certified Humane Officers who investigate animal bite incidents, enforce animal licensing laws, barking dog complaints, animal fighting, neglect and abuse, and other related calls to assist our department.
