The Town of Brookfield Parks & Recreation department opened four dedicated pickleball courts and one new tennis court at Wray Park  (1430 Jaclyn Dr).

Since the Grand Opening on June 24, the courts have been busy with . . .

• Park & Rec Open Play sessions three times a week.
• Park & Rec free pickleball classes and fee-based classes.
• Courts being reserved.
• Courts being used on a first-come, first-served basis.  Play on a court is limited to one hour when others are waiting.

A backboard recently was mounted on the north end of the tennis court for pickleball and tennis players.

Town of Brookfield Park & Rec activities take priority over all other uses for the courts.  All four courts are reserved during Park & Rec pickleball activities.  Activities may be added or changed without notice.

Please help keep the new courts in good condition.  Follow all court and park rules.  Enjoy the new courts!

Open Play

Open Play sessions are for all levels of experienced players.  A Volunteer Court Coordinator will manage player rotations and dividing courts by levels as needed.  Registration and fee required.  Open Play sessions are now extended from the end of September to the end of October.  Wednesday evening sessions will begin and end earlier through September and October to account for the earlier sunsets.

• Tuesdays, through October 31: 8:30 – 11:30 am
• Wednesdays, through October 25: 5:00 – 7:30 pm
• Saturdays, through October 28: 8:30 – 11:30 am

FEE: $25 residents / $40 non-residents

Instruction

Mondays (1-2 courts) are for pickleball instruction:  classes, clinics, private lessons.  Other days may be used for Park & Rec pickleball instruction.    Contact Park & Rec to inquire about classes or private lessons taught by a Certified Pickleball Coach.
