Overview

The Town of Brookfield requires a license for dogs and cats that are five months of age or older and have had their rabies shots. Licenses are valid for the calendar year.

Please note that our pet licensing fees have recently changed. The new rates are listed below and on the Schedule of Fees.

Fee Schedule (Effective 1/1/2024)

Spayed/Neutered: $15.00

Unspayed/Unneutered: $20.00

Late Fee (If not paid/renewed by January 31): Additional $5.00

Applicants/Owners must also provide the following:

• Rabies Vaccination Certificate
• Proof of spay/neuter
• Signed Vicious Dog Declaration Certification

Pets in the Park – Pursuant to the Town’s Municipal Code Section 19.01(2)(e) – Dogs are NOT allowed in any of the Town’s parks or parkways with the exception of service or guide dogs.
