Fire Inspection
Inspections
The Town of Brookfield Fire Department is responsible for all fire inspections within the Town. These inspections are conducted twice a year on businesses and multi-family occupancies by on-duty fire department personnel. All occupancies are inspected for compliance with the NFPA 1 Fire Code. Property owners may consult the Town of Brookfield Ordinances under Chapter 5 for additional information.
The Town of Brookfield Fire Department has gone paperless in their inspection report writing. All inspections are recorded electronically and downloaded to a third party database utilizing Inspections Reports Online (IROL). All Property Owners (PO) must register with IROL. All Service Providers (SP) also need to register and submit their inspection report with IROL for any and all businesses in the Town of Brookfield. Registration may be completed online by visiting the IROL website at https://inspectionreportsonline.net. Training for both Property Owners and Service Providers, is available through IROL.
Failure in not registering and/or submitting reports will result in forfeiture in compliance with Town Ordinance 5.19(9).
