Town of Brookfield Park & Rec Department is looking for a qualified individual to work in the parks for the summer.
Park & Recreation General Laborer – Seasonal Part Time
Specifications
- May 1 – September 1; 30-40 hours per week (start and end times are negotiable)
- $17 – $20 per hour; benefits are not included for this position
- Paid every two weeks
Requirements
- At least age 18
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
- Ability to lift 60 pounds
- Requires some experience and training in general grounds maintenance or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, abilities, and skills

- Maintain park grounds
- Collect & dispose of litter and refuse
- Mow and trim grass
- Rake and remove leaves and brush
- General landscape and horticultural work
- Maintenance and set up of ball diamonds
- Clean park buildings, shelters, restrooms and picnic areas
- Painting and staining
- Operate & maintain various pieces of motorized equipment, trucks/vehicles and tools, as assigned
- Support of recreation programs, as assigned
